In short: SimpleMasker is a fully local watermarking tool. We do not collect, transmit or store your personal information. Photos are processed on your device — in your browser for the web tool, offline on your phone for the Android app — and never uploaded to any server.
This policy covers two things from the same developer (yltech.store): the web tool at simplemasker-intl.pages.dev and the SimpleMasker Android app on Google Play. Questions: iptton@gmail.com.
Everything you do in the web tool happens inside your browser. Photos you import are read into memory, watermarked and re-encoded locally using standard browser canvas APIs. Your photos and watermark texts are never uploaded — there is no upload endpoint, no account and no server-side processing at all.
Your watermark text history, theme and language preferences are stored only in your browser's local storage, on your device. Clearing site data in your browser removes them completely.
The page itself is hosted as static files on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical request data needed to serve a page (such as IP address and user agent) under its own privacy policy. The web tool embeds no analytics, no ads and no third-party tracking scripts.
SimpleMasker for Android processes photos completely offline and does not upload photos or watermark texts. Saved texts, their date options, the current text draft, and theme/language preferences are stored in app settings on your device.
The app uses the system photo picker and does not request READ_MEDIA_IMAGES or READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE. Camera access is requested only when you take a photo. Exports are saved via MediaStore (Android 8/9 additionally use WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, API 28 and below). Exported JPEG files are re-encoded without source EXIF metadata, including GPS and camera information. The app holds no network permission and contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.
We do not collect names, phone numbers, email addresses, locations, device identifiers or usage analytics. We do not share, sell or disclose personal information to third parties, because we never have it.
Web: clear site data in your browser to remove every trace of the tool. Android: delete saved texts in the Saved texts page, or clear app data / uninstall to remove all local data.
